 Dear East Dover Elementary Families,

I hope you and your child(ren) have enjoyed a wonderful summer! As we prepare to begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am filled with excitement and gratitude to welcome both new and returning families back to East Dover Elementary School.

It is truly an honor to begin my second full school year as Principal of East Dover Elementary. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of getting to know our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Together, we have built a strong foundation, and I look forward to continuing our work to ensure every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired each day.

This year marks my nineteenth year in education, and my passion for teaching, learning, and educational leadership continues to grow. I remain committed to supporting our exceptional educators, fostering meaningful partnerships with families, and creating opportunities for every student to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As both an educator and a parent of three children, I understand the excitement, anticipation, and emotions that come with the start of a new school year. I firmly believe that when schools and families work together, students experience greater success. Your partnership is essential, and I encourage open communication throughout the year.

Our school theme for this year, Connect Belong Shine, reflects our commitment to building meaningful relationships, creating an inclusive environment where every student feels they belong, and empowering each child to shine in their own unique way. Together, we will continue to foster a culture of kindness, respect, perseverance, and academic excellence while ensuring that every student knows they are an important part of our East Dover family.

At East Dover Elementary, our mission remains to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child is supported, challenged, and celebrated. We are excited for another year filled with learning, growth, school spirit, and memorable experiences.

Please know that my door is always open. I welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback as we continue to strengthen our school community. I also encourage you to become involved by attending PTA meetings, family events, and school activities throughout the year. Together, we can make this an incredible year for our Tigers.
